Cayden Yong
Cayden began studying piano at the age of six under the tutelage of Ivy Chan, later continuing his studies with Yoon Sen Lee from the age of twelve. He has since been awarded the Diploma of the London College of Music at age 13 and the Licentiate of Trinity College London at age 14.
Cayden has enjoyed success in several local competitions, including the Fremantle Eisteddfod, North of Perth Music Festival, South Suburban Music Society Eisteddfod, and the West Australian Pianist Competition, in addition to international competitions including Golden Key Music Festival in Austria.
A recipient of a music scholarship at Hale School, Cayden was awarded the Gladstones Piano Cup for three consecutive years and received the prestigious Garland Music Prize for overall excellence in music.
