Lisa Yang
Lisa was born in Perth, Western Australia. She first started learning grade two piano with Yoon Sen Lee Music School in 2012 under Yoon Sen Lee. By 2013, she achieved grade 8 with Honours. In the following year, Lisa went on to obtain her Associate diploma with the Trinity College of London (ATCL) and Associate diploma with the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMusA). In 2015 she obtained her grade 5 Music Theory certificate with Honours.
Aside from winning local competitions, in 2014 Lisa was also the third place winner of the American Protégé International Piano and Strings competition and was invited to perform at Carnegie hall in New York.
In 2015, Lisa started teaching for Yoon Sen Lee Music School. Her students comprise of all musical backgrounds and ages. She aims to inspire all her students during her teachings and encourages each and every one of them to achieve their full potential.
Currently, Lisa is studying Medical Sciences at the University of Western Australia and will be pursuing Medicine as her postgraduate degree. Lisa still wishes to be involved in music and piano teaching and will be continuing to do so alongside her studies.
